AVA38

Offering traditional food from various Ecuadorian provinces, AVA 38 serves fresh and colorful dishes that will brighten your day or even remind you of home. Owner Vicenta Castro grew up on 38th Avenue in Guayaquil, Ecuador; where foot and car traffic hardly died and a variety of restaurants opened shop everyday. AVA 38 captures Ecuadorian cuisine as colorful, vibrant, and diverse. With this project, I tried to stray away from older, traditional takes on Ecuadorian themed restaurants and went for a bright and modern twist. Colors and textures are based on the staple ingredients found throughout the array of dishes: plantain, lime, red onion, and avocado.
